Sutter Says:
Although Sutter denies that he ever claimed to be a priest, he
has said that he attended Borromeo Seminary in Cleveland and he used
the credentials of a priest hundreds of times in his Google postings in the late
1990's:
"As a Catholic minister, after I completed my five years of study, done
through a combination of correspondence, online and attendance at St.
Borromeo Seminary (here in Cleveland), while during the same five years
working as a lay minister for the Catholic Church"(source)
"Rev. James M. Sutter, D.D., D.B., C.P.M.
Pastor, Doers of the Word Baptist Fellowship Church
Pastor, ULC of Ohio
Cleveland, Ohio, USA"
The Truth:
The C.P.M. title that Sutter claims to hold actually stands for
membership in the Fathers of Mercy, a Roman Catholic congregation of missionary
priests. It goes without saying that only priests are members and that
Sutter never had any legitimate affiliation at all to the organization.
Sutter's seminary claims, along with his insistence that he was "commissioned a Eucharistic Minister," appear to be fraudulent as well.
